I read the reviews before coming and was skeptical but I decided to stay anyways and they totally fixed the whole place up and made it look brand new. The staff were so nice they made sure I felt like I was at home. Then there is the food, they have an option where you can customize omelets and they will make it for you and the dinner is really good, I was really surprised when I heard they had steak. Their is also a soda machine and the soda taste really good. The halls and rooms smell like laundry detergent and they added ice machines to every floor. The pool, hot tub and sauna was very nice also. I would recommend this to everybody because it is very nice and the beds are more comfortable than a cloud. ~ Colt L

Birch Hill Suites in Columbia, Missouri means more to me than words can fully express. I especially want to thank Ms. Coretta Williams, who is one of the most fair, kindhearted, and genuine people I have ever met. During the year and a half I lived there, she helped me more times than I can count and truly saved my life in more ways than one. I am also deeply grateful for her staff Andrea, Destanie, Jason, Bucky and Kayla. They all went above and beyond to make sure anything we ever needed was taken care of including making sure my dog was safely evacuated during a fire alarm while I was not home. All of you are not just staff; they became family. After I lost my home, I did not know where I was going to go, and Birch Hill Suites gave me a safe place when I had nowhere else. I will always be thankful for the kindness, compassion, and support I was shown there. This place is home. Thank you all so much for everything ~ Wendy

We were stranded in the middle of Missouri and with no where to go but the nearest rest area we stumbled upon this tiny gem. The staff is very personable and friendly. It’s the most affordable hotel in the area so there are drawbacks. But we slept through the night early and she gave us the rest we needed to continue on our journey. Thank you girls. ~ Fernando M

I cannot say enough good things about the staff here. They always go way out of their way to help me in any way that they can. Mrs. C is awesome! As is everyone that works here. I would recommend this hotel anyone coming through the Columbia mo area or already living here trying to find a good place to stay. They are pet and kid friendly and the hotel staff are all extremely nice and always going above and beyond to help their guest ~ jakib P

Staff is friendly and atmosphere is good. Easy parking lot access and rooms are like a home away from home. Only thing it needs is an ice machine. Lol. It has laundry room with vending machines and pet friendly. Couldn't ask for a better place to go. ~ Tiffany S

Great room, great value for the money. Safe area with major mall and restaurants and a fancy HyVee grocery store within 1 mile. Next to several higher priced Wyndham hotels. The night manager (redhead) was very nice, very understanding that I was disabled and found me a first floor room. They do even have a working elevator. I met the General manager when checking out whom her sister and her were extremely professional and had all the guests behaved. Dog friendly motel. Highly recommend this low cost , but like a higher priced Hotel. My Wife and I felt very safe on our 22 hour stay as we checked in the afternoon. Everything clean, Towels were higher quality. New type TV, ac worked great too. I will be back,, and highly recommend this great value but safe Hotel. Everything you want to eat within 1 mile. High end Steak house, Chipotle steak sandwiches, just to name a few restaurants I saw. I bought our dinner and breakfast stuff at Hyvee as You cannot beat Hyvee for selection of foods... Thank you for great value, and great location just off I-70 highway...from a professional traveler for over 40 years...They also had two vending machines that were stocked full with most flavors of sodas and snacks...Shower and bathtub were very clean... ~ Larry C

We have had a pretty great experience with most of the staff here and for the price the rooms are very nice and they are willing to work with you. They have pretty nice guests here staying as well. And a few dog lovers here that don't discriminate against your breed of dog. ~ Stacie W

This place is super friendly and will go above and beyond to try and help accommodate you and your needs. The price here is so worth it and has a cook stove to prepare hot meals. And unlike most hotels the shower is super hot... lol ~ Theresa B
